Getting Started with VelvetReply

Welcome to VelvetReply! This guide will help you get up and running with our AI-powered review management platform in just a few simple steps.

Prerequisites

Before you begin, make sure you have:

  • A Google Business Profile (for review integration)
  • Your brand guidelines and voice preferences
  • Access to your business email

Step 1: Create Your Account

  • Visit [velvetreply.com](https://velvetreply.com)
  • Click "Get Started" or "Start Free Trial"
  • Fill in your business information
  • Choose your plan (you can start with the free trial)
  • Verify your email address

Step 2: Connect Your Google Business Profile

  • In your VelvetReply dashboard, go to "Integrations"
  • Click "Connect Google Business Profile"
  • Authorize VelvetReply to access your profile
  • Select the locations you want to manage
  • Configure notification preferences

Step 3: Set Up Your Brand Voice

  • Go to "Settings" → "Brand Voice"
  • Upload your brand guidelines document
  • Provide examples of your communication style
  • Set tone preferences (professional, friendly, casual, etc.)
  • Define key phrases and terminology to use/avoid

Step 4: Create Your First Template

  • Navigate to "Templates" in your dashboard
  • Click "Create New Template"
  • Choose a template type (apology, thank you, follow-up, etc.)
  • Customize the content to match your brand
  • Save and activate the template

Step 5: Test Your Setup

  • Send a test review through your Google Business Profile
  • Check that VelvetReply receives the notification
  • Review the AI-generated response
  • Make any necessary adjustments to your settings
